KMPH is looking for a Multi-Media Journalist to join our team in Central California. Join us and hone the skills you need to take your career where you want to go! We are looking for a candidate who thinks outside the box and elevates their storytelling with enhanced content on our digital and social platforms. Candidate must be willing to work weekday mornings and fill-in as an anchor as needed. -Your responsibilities as an MMJ will include reporting, shooting and editing news stories, enterprising story ideas, developing contacts, and contributing content to KMPH's digital and social platforms.Skills and Experience:--- Sharp news judgment--- The ability to tell an NPPA style story--- Excellent technical skills--- The ability to work well independently--- Strong writer with the ability to learn how to produce newscasts to work as a fill-in as needed.--- Must have and maintain a valid license and a good driving recordRequirements and Qualifications:--- A minimum of (1) year reporting experience is required--- Experience with live shots is required--- Experience with Live-U is a plusWhile applying online, please include a link to your online demo reel.The base salary compensation range for this role is $18.00 to $20.00 per hour. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidates' relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location.
